Funeral arrangements are underway for 22-year-old Tshiamo Moramaga and 21-year-old Baleseng Moramaga, who were brutally murdered in Mamelodi East, Pretoria. Their bodies were found on Sunday morning, sparking outrage and grief countrywide.
The accused, 38-year-old Tebogo Mnisi, has been remanded in custody by the Mamelodi Magistrate's court. The family is still devastated, with family spokesperson Edward Moramaga expressing their pain and shock.
"The deceased had a bright future ahead of them," Moramaga said. "We were expecting a lot from these children. We were hoping they would bring positive change to our family."
The cousins, who moved to Mamelodi to attend the University of South Africa, are described as joyful and peaceful. The funeral will take place on Saturday at Luckau village, outside Groblersdal in Limpopo. The community is demanding justice for the cousins.
