BREAKING NEWS: Shebeshxt's Attempted Murder Case Postponed to November 21

The case of well-known Lekompo musician Lehlohonolo Chauke, popularly known as Shebeshxt, has been postponed to November 21, 2025, at the Polokwane Magistrate's Court in Limpopo. Shebeshxt is facing multiple charges, including attempted murder, malicious damage to property, and unlawful possession of a firearm.

According to the police, the charges stem from an incident that occurred on October 19, 2025, in Ladanna, Polokwane, where Shebeshxt allegedly shot at a vehicle, injuring a 34-year-old male occupant. The victim was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries and is currently fighting for his life in the ICU.

Shebeshxt made a brief appearance at the Polokwane Magistrate's Court on Thursday, November 13, 2025, supported by fans, fellow musicians, and family members. The state has requested more time to finalize investigations and potentially upgrade the charges, which could make it harder for Shebeshxt to secure bail. The court granted the postponement, and Shebeshxt will remain in custody until his next court appearance.
