THE ANC YOUTH LEAGUE ELECTS ITS NEW TOP SIX LEADERSHIP AT THE CONFERENCE


The ANC Youth League has elected its new leadership at the elective conference held in Polokwane, Limpopo. The newly elected top six officials are:

- President General: Collen Malatji

- Deputy President General: Francisco Dyantyi

- Secretary General: Tsakani Shiviti

- 1st Deputy Secretary General: Zama Khanyase

- 2nd Deputy Secretary General: Venus Blennies-Magage

- Treasurer General: Jacob Tau

Collen Malatji, the newly elected president, is a 30-year-old ANC MP who was elected unopposed. He has been involved in politics since he was 13, joining the Congress of South African Students (COSAS) and later becoming the national president of the ANC Youth League.

The conference was held at the University of Limpopo, with over 3,000 delegates in attendance. The new leadership is expected to serve a five-year term, with Malatji promising to champion youth issues vigorously.
