Gauteng police in the Tshwane district have arrested a foreign national male suspect after he was found driving a stolen Range Rover in Moreleta Park. Police discovered the body of the vehicle's owner, a female, in the boot, and she was sadly found murdered. Three firearms were seized, one of which is a replica.
The suspect is expected to appear in the Pretoria Magistrate's Court, facing charges of murder, kidnapping, possession of unlicensed firearms, possession of a stolen motor vehicle, and possession of suspected stolen property.
Police investigations revealed that the victim was killed during a house robbery in Standerton, Mpumalanga Province, on Friday evening. The suspect allegedly ransacked the house, killed the victim, and drove away with her Range Rover.
