Radio 2000 presenter Dj Sbu has responded to allegations made against him and businessman TK Nciza at the Madlanga Commission, denying any wrongdoing. The allegations, made by suspended Head of Legal and Risk Services Kemi Behari, claim they unduly benefitted from over R100 million in the City of Ekurhuleni.
In a statement, Dj Sbu called the allegations "false, misleading, and unsubstantiated", saying they are part of an attempt to divert attention from internal matters and personal accountability issues. "I have conducted myself with integrity, transparency, and respect for the law throughout my career," he said.
Dj Sbu denied participating in any illegal activity, benefiting from improper conduct, or influencing legal processes unlawfully. He reserved his legal rights and remedies, saying he will pursue action if the claims continue to damage his reputation.
"I urge the public to exercise caution and verify facts, and I will cooperate fully with any lawful investigation," Dj Sbu said.
