BREAKING NEWS: DJ Warras Murder: Alleged Mozambican Shooter Paid R7000 To Kill Warras

A 25-year-old Mozambican national, Armindo Pacula, appeared in the Johannesburg Magistrate's Court on Monday, facing charges related to the murder of media personality Warrick Stock, aka DJ Warras. Pacula was arrested on Friday in the East Rand, over a month after Stock's killing in Johannesburg's CBD.

The alleged total amount paid for Stock's assassination was R25,000, split between three people, including Pacula, who reportedly received R7,000 to carry out the hit. The other portions went to an accomplice, caught on CCTV with Pacula, and the firearm owner, still at large.

Stock, 40, was shot five times on December 16, 2025, in a targeted attack. Police confirmed 44-year-old Soweto taxi boss Victor Majola allegedly orchestrated the murder. Majola was arrested six days after Stock's death and denied bail last month. The investigation is ongoing, with authorities searching for additional accomplices.
