BREAKING NEWS: EFF Defends Malema Amidst Tender Scandal, Calls Allegations 'Rubbish'

EFF Secretary-General Marshall Dlamini has come out strongly in defense of party leader Julius Malema, dismissing allegations of irregular tenders linked to Malema's companies as "rubbish" that require no further attention. This comes after Gauteng police officer Sergeant Fannie Nkosi testified at the Madlanga Commission that seven companies linked to Malema scored irregular tenders in the City Tshwane municipality.

Dlamini's defense of Malema has sparked controversy, with allegations that the EFF is trying to deflect attention from the serious allegations. Nkosi's testimony revealed that TMPD Deputy Chief Umashi Dlamini sent him a WhatsApp message listing seven companies allegedly recommended for a security tender, with "Juju" - a nickname associated with Malema - mentioned as the beneficiary.

The allegations are part of a broader investigation into corruption and irregular procurement processes in Tshwane. The Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation (DPCI) is also probing a dubious City of Tshwane fuel tender worth around half a billion rand, with allegations that companies linked to Malema and Dlamini benefited from the tender.
